The Hilton flag will fly by the end of the fourth quarter of this year on the Prince Kuhio, which currently bears the Radisson brand. This word comes on the heels of the announcement Aug. 10 that Hilton will be managing its second Doubletree in Waikiki. Hilton has been expanding significantly in Hawaii this year. It earlier announced its being selected to manage a property on Kauai that originally opened as a Hilton—it has been rebranded several times over--as well as the addition of the Grand Wailea Resort Hotel & Spa on Maui to the Waldorf=Astoria Collection. The rebranding of the Kauai Beach Hotel & Resort, formerly the Radisson Kauai Beach Resort, as a Hilton takes place later this summer upon completion of a $14 million renovation project.
