InterContinental Hotels Group is set to launch its first InterContinental hotel on New Zealand's South Island, scheduled to open in 2010. The 221-room InterContinental Queenstown will have more than 9,850 square feet of conference and meeting facilities, as well as a health spa with outdoor pool and Jacuzzis.
