Ko`a Kea Hotel & Resort has embarked on a new design and reconstruction scheduled for completion in January 2008. The 121-room beachfront hotel will include a new design of its guest rooms and suites-designed by interior decorator Anita Brooks, whose other projects have included the Red Rock Hotel and Casino and Four Seasons Hotel in Las Vegas-as well as a new restaurant and luxury spa facility. The new restaurant, Red Salt, will serve contemporary Hawaiian cuisine with an emphasis on fresh local ingredients. The spa will offer five treatment rooms including a room for couples massage.
