Millennium Bostonian Hotel Announces $14 Million Renovation

The Millennium Bostonian is embarking on a major renovation estimated at $12 to $14 million that will redesign guest rooms, create a new restaurant, add 3,000 square feet of meeting space and provide other enhancements. Scheduled to begin in December, the project should be completed by mid-2007. The hotel's 201 guest rooms will be redone, with new "Millennium Beds" with duvets and 300-thread-count linens, flat screen TVs, laptop safes and a new décor accented by photography and artwork celebrating Boston. The updated rooms will also have new bathrooms, stone floor entryways and new wood paneling. The Bostonian's well-known fireplace rooms and balconies will remain, but soundproof windows will be added. Visit [www.millenniumhotels.com].
