New York-The spa industry has never been more prevalent, with 96 million active spa-goers worldwide, according to the International SPA Association's first-ever ISPA Global Consumer Report, which was unveiled yesterday at ISPA's annual media event in New York City. Travel Agent was on site as the findings of the inaugural report were announced, which surveyed ISPA's 3,000 members in 75 countries and was conducted in cooperation with Harris Interactive, an international market research firm.
