February 2, 2010 By: Meagan Drillinger

The Park Hyderabad was named 'best future hospitality project in India,' yesterday, February 1, by Cityscape India. The hotel was awarded for its ability to blend architectural traditions with sustainable design.

The Park Hyderabad is introducing all non-smoking guest rooms and is a certified LEED Gold green buiding.

The new hotel will have a soft opening on March 1, debuting 100 rooms, The Veranda, Sicca Bar, Street Lobby, Hotel Lobby, Library Lounge, Ruby Lounge, pool deck, aqua pool and garden. In June the hotel's 270 rooms will officially open.

The big draw to the hotel is going to be the 3D horizon pool, which uses light and water to create motion patterns, which are reflected in the hotel's nightclub.

Guests should also be on the lookout for Aura Spa and Tresorie luxury retail mall, which is available to both guests and visitors.
