Collette Names Sales Person of the Year

Robert (Bob) Koch was named Collette Vacations' Sales Person of the Year, a title he has now earned for the past 15 years. The award honors the individual who generated the most sales revenue in the previous fiscal year.

A travel industry veteran since 1980, Koch has been a district sales manager for Collette in the state of Pennsylvania since 1991. He works with roughly 125 travel agents and group tour coordinators in the southeast corner of Pennsylvania and Delaware.

“It’s an honor to be recognized,” Koch says. “I guess it’s easy to sell a dream vacation when you enjoy the company and team you work with and the integrity of the product is second to none.”

In addition to his dedication to Collette, Koch is committed to making a difference in the fight against cancer and multiple sclerosis. He participates in fundraisers to benefit the American Cancer Society and the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, including their annual 180-mile bike ride.  Before beginning his career in travel, Koch earned a Bachelor's degree from St. Mary's University and a Masters degree in education from Antioch University.

Collette Vacations is a family-owned business headquartered in Pawtucket, RI, and is the oldest tour operator in the United States. Colette offers over 150 programs to desired destinations on all seven continents.
