Perillo Tours named Larry McCarthy as the company’s new national sales director responsible for the trade sector. McCarthy comes to Perillo from the Globus family of brands after three decades of experience increasing sales and overall destination and product awareness among travel agents.

NYC & Company, the official tourism arm for the five boroughs, named Fred Dixon as its new president and CEO. Dixon will be responsible for developing and implementing New York City’s tourism and convention development strategy internationally as well as in domestic leisure and business markets. Joining NYC & Company in 2005, Dixon previously led the expansion of the City’s international marketing efforts.

Vail Resorts, Inc. named Debbie Kurtz director of national accounts for the East Coast region. In her new position, Kurtz takes on meetings, groups and incentive sales across the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions for Vail Resorts Hospitality and RockResorts. Kurtz, for the past 18 years, has been based in the New York City area serving in various sales positions for international hoteliers as well as a global airline.

Connie Wallace has joined Sita World Tours as business development manager overseeing the Northeastern United States. Wallace is responsible for fostering travel agent partnerships and developing business within her territory. She will have a particular focus on educating agents on the benefits and advantages of working with Sita World Tours.

Wallace comes to the position with more that 20 years experience in the travel industry, working in marketing positions with Universal Orlando Resort, as well as a major cruise line and tour operator.
