The Hotel Savoy was built in 1893 in the piazza of the Mercato Vecchio, today called Piazza della Repubblica, in Florence. The Rocco Forte Collection restored this historic building eight years ago, and it is now a luxury hotel with 102 guest rooms, including 14 suites, and views of he Giotto's bell-tower and the cathedral dome by Brunelleschi in the piazza.
