Westin Lima Opens 'Heavenly Spa'

The Heavenly Spa Lima at the new Westin Lima Hotel & Convention Center is now open in Peru, represententing the largest spa (nearly 20,000 square feet) in South America, according to Westin Hotels and Resorts representatives.

With all facilities designed by Tony Chi, the Heavenly Spa offers 17 treatment rooms, a fully-equipped fitness center and a heated swimming pool. In addition to classic services such as facials and corporal massages, the Heavenly Spa Lima also offers hydro-therapy in a European style thermal circuit with Vichy showers, hydro-massages with ‘chromo therapy’ and full water circuit. The product line is Germain de Capuccini, imported from Spain and offered exclusively at the Heavenly Spa.

The Heavenly Spa also offers the luxurious Razul Experience, uniting the four fundamental elements of water (overhead rain shower), fire (heat), earth (mineral mud) and air (steam) into a unique spa experience taking place in a purpose-built steam room where guests are given an array of nourishing muds, exfoliants and oils to apply based on their own needs and preferences.

Another Heavenly Spa signature is the Vichy Shower, which is an innovative massage technique that uses special orange based oils for exfoliation applied in conjunction with a therapeutic massage while warm water gently cascades on the guests’ back, resulting in fully hydrated, silky smooth skin.

As Libertador’s third new hotel in partnership with Starwood, the 301-room Westin Lima Hotel & Convention Center opened in May and is located in San Isidro, the heart of the financial and shopping district.
