With an increasing number of tourists and business travelers coming to the Ukrainian capital of Kiev, both Hyatt and Hilton have announced plans to open hotels there in the next few years, the Kyiv Post reports. The Hyatt Regency Saint Sophia is an investment project of the Donbass Industrial Union, one of Ukraine's largest business holdings, and is scheduled to open in March 2007. Hilton plans to open a $70 million five-star luxury hotel in the city in 2008.
