Hacienda Tres Rios in Cancun, Mexico has plans to expand its spa, Travel Agent learned at the 2012 Luxury Travel Exchange. We spoke with Rosario Mojica Miranda, manager of spa sales, who told us that there have been proposals submitted to expand the new seven-room spa. Though Miranda could not give us any more specifics, the hotel definitely has plans in the works.
Miranda also told us that the spa has expanded its treatment menu to include more specialized treatments that are local to the area. These new treatments include products like tequila, mezcal, chocolate, wine and chaya.
