Second Four Seasons Resort Opens in the Maldives

A month and half after the opening of Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa, the company announced Wednesday that a second Maldives hotel had opened, the Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru. The resort occupies an entire 44-acre island in northern Baa Atoll and the resort's architecture and interior design is influenced by the work of late Sri Lanka architect Geoffrey Bawa. The property has a 2.5-acre spa with 10 treatment pavilions; Blu restaurant, which overlooks a lagoon; and recreational activities such as scuba diving, snorkeling and fishing.
