New Brands and Resort Renovations at Riviera Nayarit

Riviera Nayarit, on Mexico’s Pacific Coast, continues to attract major investments and the biggest names in international resort development.

Led by companies like Grand Palladium Resorts & Hotels, Hard Rock International, Occidental Hotels & Resorts, Four Seasons and others, the choice of new and transformed resorts this summer will be impressive.

Grand Palladium Resorts & Hotels has completed a $30 million transformation of the all-inclusive Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort & Spa. With new bathrooms, contemporary furniture and new color schemes, the resort’s 422 guest accommodations, ranging from deluxe rooms to suites, now reflect the natural beauty of Mexico’s landscapes and beaches. Hard Rock International has announced that the Vallarta Palace in Nuevo Vallarta has been transformed into the new Hard Rock Puerto Vallarta. Described by the company as “the ultimate all-inclusive,” the resort features luxury accommodations, including in-room double Jacuzzis; fine dining, top-shelf drinks, 24-hour room service, and live entertainment. In keeping with the Hard Rock image, there will be Rock Star Suites, an extensive collection of authentic rock memorabilia, and an ongoing schedule of live concerts, celebrity-driven soirees and other exciting onsite events. Occidental Hotels & Resorts has re-opened the Occidental Grand Nuevo Vallarta after a $14 million renovation. Formerly the Allegro Nuevo Vallarta, the all-inclusive resort offers 270 rooms ranging from deluxe rooms to suites and two penthouses, and the Royal Club, offering an even higher standard of accommodations plus private check-in and exclusive reception area and restaurant. Other resort features include four restaurants, including two ala carte; three bars, a fitness center, lighted tennis court and two swimming pools, one reserved for children. Four Seasons Punta Mita has just completed a series of upgrades including renovations of the Tamai adult pool and its cabanas, new games and flat screen televisions in its game room, opening of the Nawua Gourmet Store including Mexican foods and handicrafts, refurbishments to the Four Seasons Yacht and renovations of Nua bar.
