On December 1, The Acanto Hotel will open under the Desires Hotels flag, marking the second high-profile boutique hotel to open in Playa Del Carmen in the Riviera Maya, Mexico.

The Acanto Hotel is housed behind grand hacienda style gates and has a prime location just one block form the beach and less than a block from the bustling 5th Avenue.
A grotto style center courtyard pool offers a space to relax and enjoy a swim or soak in the sun pre and post beach and village visits. The Acanto has 21, one- two- and three bedroom suites.
