Continental Increases Honolulu–Houston Flights

Continental Airlines has announced an increase in holiday service between Honolulu and Houston with the addition of a daily nonstop flight, effective December 17 through January 10, 2010 (excluding December 25). The new service increases the total roundtrip flights per day from two to three.

Continental’s Houston hub offers nearly 700 daily departures to 162 nonstop destinations. Continental also serves Hawaii with daily flights from Newark and Los Angeles, and between Honolulu, Guam and the Marshall Islands. Beginning December 18, Continental will operate twice-weekly service between Honolulu and Nadi, Fiji.

The new seasonal flight CO #124 departs Honolulu International Airport at 10:50 p.m. and arrives at Houston’s Bush Intercontinental Airport at 7:40 a.m. the next day. The flight returns to Honolulu as CO#125 departing Houston at 2:25 p.m. and arriving at Honolulu at 6:50 p.m. Continental operates a Boeing 767-400 ER for the flight, carrying 35 BusinessFirst and 200 Economy customers.
