Oahu's Kahala Resort Introduces New Fitness Classes

Fitness fans in Hawaii have a new reason to visit the Kahala, where the resort's CHI Health & Energy Fitness Center has introduced two new workout classes: Stand Up Paddle Yoga and “Kahala Core” TRX Suspension Training.
 
Ever try a downward dog on a floating stand-up paddleboard? New SUP Yoga classes combine the mind-sharpening, body-conditioning, heart-opening joy of yoga with the stability challenge of a stand up paddleboard. The Kahala’s newest fitness class is offered on Saturdays at 10 am and Tuesdays at 4 p.m.
 
The TRX Suspension Trainer is a fitness program that’s used by the United States military elite, incorporating unique equipment to provide a challenging workout for everyone. Join this latest fitness craze with “Kahala Core” TRX Suspension Training that includes hundreds of exercises to build power, strength, flexibility, balance and mobility while preventing injuries. 
 
Exercisers of all fitness levels are welcome, and classes are open to hotel guests and non-guests with prior reservation. The Kahala will provide paddleboards and exercise equipment. The CHI Health Energy Fitness Center is located beachfront at The Kahala (5000 Kahala Avenue,  Honolulu), adjacent to the Plumeria Beach House.
