Seabourn Targets Asia Cruises

With the addition of two new ships in 2009 and 2010, Seabourn Cruises is also upping its areas of exploration. Beginning in 2010-2011, Seabourn will offer Asia itineraries on a year-round basis. This is a first for the luxury fleet, which will also return to Indonesia after a long absence. New Asian ports of call include Dalian, China; Busan and Inchon, Korea; Nagasaki and Kagoshima, Japan; and, in Indonesia, Bali, Borneo, Komodo Island and the Karimoenjawa archipelago.

"One of the many benefits of our newbuilding program is the ability to add exotic, new itineraries in 2010 and 2011," said Pamela Conover, president and CEO of Seabourn. “We have never before offered such a wide range of destinations."

Seabourn will add Seabourn Odyssey in June, while Seabourn Sojourn makes its debut in June 2010. The latter, in 2011, will embark on a 110-day world cruise from Los Angeles.
