Apple Vacations and Sandals Resorts announced a renewed partnership agreement. While specific terms of the agreement were undisclosed, both companies are working to have the resorts on sale in combination with Apple Vacations' air and transfers by August 31. Some of the planned activities in support of the partnership include travel agent fams hosted by Apple Vacations, four-color stand-alone brochures, Apple Vacations booking incentives for agents, and enhanced consumer information at [www.applevacations.com]. John Lynch, Sandals and Beaches Resorts' executive vice president, told Travel Agent that there is no concern that other operators will feel excluded by the partnership. "There is room for everyone," Lynch says.
