ASTA Offers Seminar on Business Survival

July 2, 2008 By: George Dooley

If you are a travel agent looking for new information that will help you succeed in spite of the economic slowdown, the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) may have a solution with its new one-day audio conference.

Titled “Surviving & Thriving in the Economic Slow Down - Strategies and Tactics for Building Business Relationships that Close Sales,” the one-day, July 9 conference features Kimberlee Hayward and is presented by The Center for Business Relationship Strategies.

The seminar will be offered Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at 12 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. (Eastern). Tuition has been set at: Live event, per registered site, $195; Live event plus audio-CD, $295; and Audio-CD only (no live event),  $195.

Hayward is an author and keynote speaker. She will cover strategies and tactics proven most effective for building business relationships that close sales, ASTA says. Topics covered include how to decrease sales and business development expenses 40 percent or more– by focusing on only those things that work.

ASTA is also offering a Satisfaction Guarantee. If agents are not completely satisfied with the audio conference they can request a full refund of the participation fee—no questions asked.  Agents can contact Rebecca LeFevre at [email protected] or 703.739.6872 for more information.
