Earthquake Hits Philippines

A 6.1 earthquake hit the Philippines yesterday, Thursday, March 25, in the Mindoro region of the country. The epicenter was approximately 86 miles from capital Manila and was felt in Quezcon City on the island of Luzon and also in Lubang Island, according to CNN.

No serious damage or injuries have been reported. This is being attributed to the earthquake's location, a good distance off the coast of the islands.
