martinhal chiado

Martinhal Family Hotels & Resorts has opened the new Martinhal Chiado Family Suites in Lisbon

Designed with family travelers in mind, the new hotel has 37 apartments ranging from studio to two bedrooms, each with a full kitchen and washer/dryer. It can serve as a base for exploring the city’s UNESCO World Heritage sites, like the Belém Tower and Mosteiro dos Jeronimos, as well as for riding the city’s traditional trams, exploring Lisbon’s many parks and gardens, and visiting the Oceanário de Lisboa, Europe’s second largest aquarium.

The hotel also has a clubhouse with ample play space for children ages six months to early teens. The Kids Club has various areas, each specially designed to stimulate and cater to each age group. Chiado will also have a special ‘pyjama club’ offering childcare services each evening until midnight, allowing parents to enjoy a night out in downtown Lisbon.

Additionally, for parents hoping to travel hassle-free with small children and infants, Martinhal’s Baby Concierge allows guests to pre-book baby equipment as large as safety gates and as small as bottle sterilizers and diapers.

The Martinhal Family Hotels & Resorts collection also includes Martinhal Cascais Family Hotel, Martinhal Sagres Beach Family Resort and Martinhal Quinta Family Golf Resort.
