Several rail companies have come together to form Railteam, a partnership between Europe's high-speed rail operators that makes for easier cross-country travel. Operating much like an airline alliance, the partnership means that the full range of Eurail passes are accepted on board all participating high-speed networks, except National Passes on Eurostar. Railteam includes DB from Germany; SNCF from France; Eurostar from UK, France and Belgium; NS Hispeed from the Netherlands; ÖBB from Austria; SBB from Switzerland and SNCB from Belgium, as well as Thalys and Lyria. Additional Railteam members are expected to be announced soon. Other benefits of the partnership include multi-lingual information in stations and trains, improved connections and passenger assistance in the event of a missed connection.
