Nexion Ramps Up Educational Offerings for Travel Agents

Nexion has announced an expanded lineup of educational offerings for both new and experienced travel agents. They include: 

Agent Essentials: In 2017, Nexion will offer five Agent Essentials training opportunities throughout the year. Agent Essentials offers intensive five-day seminars designed specifically for the new independent travel agent.

Boot Camp: Nexion also offers a three-day Boot Camp, with the next scheduled for July 21-23. The Boot Camp provides attendees with training on Nexion tools and programs, sales and marketing classes, and access to over 20 of Nexion’s supplier partners. 

Upon completion, attendees are automatically enrolled in the virtual program Boot Camp 2.0 to continue to build on the skills they learned in their first sessions. 

Specialty Summits and Events: Designed for agents specializing in romance travel, luxury travel, corporate travel and groups. This session provides agents with a deeper look into these growing niches along with marketing training. Nexion’s 2017 Specialty Summits and Events are:

  • Corporate CoNexions (June)
  • Group Travel Sales Summit (October)
  • Romance Travel Sales Summit (October)
  • Luxury Travel Sales Summit (November) 

While all Nexion members are invited to the Group and Romance Travel Sales Summits, the Luxury Travel Sales Summit will focus on invited attendees who have a focus in upscale travel. Corporate CoNexions is geared towards members whose businesses are mainly business travel. 

For member agents who are unable to travel for training, a variety of live and recorded webinars will be available. Nexion will also offer Nexion on the Road which provides regional events in local communities including: Fort Lauderdale and Tampa, Florida;  Atlanta, Georgia; Chicago, Illinois; Las Vegas, Nevada; and Austin, Texas
