Travel Impressions (TI) reports it has concluded their largest-ever travel agent promotion – 31 Days of Giveaways. The second annual “31 Days” promotion, which ran June 1 – August 31, 2013, generated thousands of entries and awarded agents with 35 vacation getaways to hotels around the globe, plus two grand prize trips, TI says.
“Agents’ response to 31 Days of Giveaways was nothing short of spectacular,” said John Hanratty, chief operating officer for Travel Impressions. “The promotion generated a tremendous amount of engagement, rewarding agents for their dedication to Travel Impressions while driving incremental bookings to participating suppliers during the traditionally slower summer booking season.”
Two grand prizes were offered in this year’s enhanced promotion and offered winning agent’s their choice of property from select Hard Rock Resorts (grand prize) and AMResorts (second grand prize).
· Grand Prize Winner: Kelly Severns, Sunset Travel – Five-night All-inclusive Hard Rock Hotel vacation and $1,000 air credit.
· Second Grand Prize Winner: Linda Greene, Cruise Planners – The Wise Traveler – Three-night Unlimited-Luxury stay at AMResorts.
As an added incentive, each Tuesday throughout August, Travel Impressions doubled participating agents chances of winning by awarding a bonus trip in honor of its “Two for Tuesdays” campaign for a total of 35 prizes in 31 days, in addition to the two grand prizes.
