American Cruise Lines revealed the first voyage aboard its newest ship, the American Eagle. The Complete Mississippi Cruise is a 22-day itinerary aboard the 150-passenger American Eagle, which is slated to enter service in the spring after it is finished being completed.
The voyage begins in Aug. 8, 2015 aboard the American Eagle in New Orleans and ends in St. Paul, Minn., stopping in 16 towns.
Croisi Europe began assembly on the MS Loire Princese, the line’s newest, 295-foot ship, on Dry Dock B at STX France. In February 2014, CroisiEurope chose NEOPOLIA to build the MS Loire Princesse and STX France.
The bow and stern blocks are still under construction at MECASOUD and will soon be transferred for assembly. The engines were installed at the end of September and the aluminum superstructures and paddles will be installed in October. The ship will be transferred to the launching dock during the first weeks of November, where the MS Loire Princesse’s 48-cabin outfitting will begin. The MS Loire Princesse will sail six to eight-day cruises on the Loire River beginning in 2015.
IFC Pandaw appointed Anthony Dupont to COO of the company. Anthony will be responsible for delivering operational standards across the fleet and exploring new routes and expeditions.
Anthony has worked in over 40 countries, finally settling in Asia in 2001. He brings operational experience he has gained in the field, balanced with sales positions at one of the world’s top hotel groups, Aman Resorts and more recently The Sarojin, to his latest position.
Based out of Phuket, Anthony will travel around the Pandaw fleet developing standards and staff training programs and meeting guests on ship.
