Emirates Launches Second Daily Flights to L.A., Houston

This fall, Emirates will increase its U.S. service with an additional daily flight each to Los Angeles and Houston on Boeing 777 aircraft. Passenger comforts will include private suites in First Class and lie-flat seats in Business Class.

Since the Dubai-based airline started service to New York in 2004, the trade between the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.) and the United States has almost tripled, totaling $12.7 billion in the 12 months leading up to June 2010. This year, trade relations saw U.S. exports hit $11.4 billion to make the U.A.E. the largest consumer of American exports in the Middle East and Africa.

Currently, Emirates flies nonstop out of four U.S. cities, including New York, Houston, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
