JetBlue Launches Only Nonstop Service Between New York and Albuquerque

Albuquerque, New MexicoOn April 22, 2013, JetBlue Airways launched the only nonstop service between New York and Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dave Barger, JetBlue's President and CEO, was joined today by Albuquerque Mayor Richard Berry during the inaugural flight's departure ceremony at Kennedy International Airport.

Albuquerque is JetBlue's first destination in New Mexico, and is the seventy-seventh destination served in the airline's growing route network. To celebrate, customers can book flights between New York and Albuquerque for as low as $99 one way through Wednesday, April 24, 2013. The special fares include government taxes/fees and are available for travel Monday through Thursday and Saturday between May 29 and June 26, 2013. Other terms and restrictions apply.

JetBlue now offers year round daily flights between New York (JFK) and Albuquerque (ABQ). Flights from New York to Albuquerque will depart JFK at 8:25 p.m. and arrive at ABQ at 11:04 p.m. Flights from Albuquerque to New York will depart from ABQ at 11:55 p.m. and arrive at JFK at 5:57 a.m.

JetBlue's flights from Albuquerque will be operated with its 150-seat Airbus A320 fleet. Customers traveling between Albuquerque and New York can connect onwards to dozens of other cities in JetBlue's route network including: Aruba; Bermuda; Boston, Massachusetts; Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse, New York.; Burlington, Vermont; Charleston, South Carolina; Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa, and West Palm Beach, Florida; Grand Cayman; Kingston, Jamaica; La Romana, Puerto Plata, Punta Cana, Samana, Santiago and Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic; Nantucket, Massachusetts (effective May 16); Nassau, The Bahamas; Portland, Maine; Providenciales, Turks and Caicos; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and St. Maarten.
