The National Tour Association has elected its board for 2008 and announced a partnership with the United Motorcoach Association. Next year's executive committee will consist of Bob Hoelscher of Flemming Tours as chairman and CEO; Michele Michalewicz of Western Leisure, Inc. as vice chairman; Catherine Greteman of Star Destinations, Inc. as treasurer; Marian DiPietro of Tourco as secretary; Renee Eichelberger of the St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission as DMO director; Carl Prince of Theatre Direct, Inc. as tour supplier director; and Randy Julian of Julian Tours as immediate past chairman. Newly elected tour operator directors include Luca Arioli of Intertravel, Corey Marshall of Anderson Vacations and Anne Davis of Cruises and Tours Worldwide.

In a separate announcement, NTA said it has established a partnership with the United Motorcoach Association to collaborate on their annual conventions. UMA will coordinate the Motorcoach Exhibit at the NTA annual convention, and the UMA Expo will feature an NTA Destination and Attractions Aisle. The next UMA Motorcoach Expo takes places January 16-20 in San Francisco. The 2008 NTA convention will be held November 15-19 in Pittsburgh. (JM)
