Travel Agent Students Get Financial Aid via Company Partnership

The Travel Institute, a travel industry education center, is joining efforts with Royal Caribbean International to finance education for aspiring travel agents. They’ve committed more than $7,000 towards Certified Travel Associate (CTA) certifications for master’s degree graduates of Royal Caribbean University, which is Royal Caribbean’s online schooling platform. Their combined efforts will cover over half the cost of the CTA curriculum for 40 qualifying travel partners.

Those who have finished the final segment of the university’s three-track curriculum can apply for financial aid by registering for the CTA program on the Travel Institute’s website. The Travel Institute says this perk is the first of its kind. Members of the school get an additional 10 percent towards their certification.

Royal Caribbean University is currently celebrating its one-year anniversary after launching in late 2017. The three tracks available are the Campus Tour, Bachelor of Adventure and Master of Adventure. The Travel Institute says those who enroll in Royal Caribbean University will have access to a highly visual and interactive online course curriculum, and that it will improve their business success.

The Travel Institute has over 25,000 Certified Travel Associate (CTA), Certified Travel Counselor (CTC) and Certified Travel Industry Executive (CTIE) graduates and trained more via its destination, niche and lifestyle courses and webinars. The school offers a 24/7 classroom on all mobile platforms through their Premium Member Lounge.
