Rezidor, a global hotel company, released plans for a new hotel, the Radisson Blu Hotel in Belgrade. The 236 room space is under construction and will accept its first guests in late 2013. The Radison Blu is the company’s first hotel in Serbia, its 64th country.
“Belgrade [is]a vibrant, dynamic city with 1.7 million inhabitants where we see a considerable potential," Kurt Ritter, president and CEO of Rezidor.
Austrian real estate developer Soravia Group, Erste Bank Group and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) leads the construction of the hotel and of an office tower adjacent to the location.
The hotel is near the city’s convention center and its largest thoroughfare. The hotel will offer free high speed Internet, a restaurant and bar, 600 square meters of meeting space, a wellness area, and parking facilities.
