Canadian Mountain Holidays (CMH) Heli-Skiing is rolling out five new courses in British Columbia as part of its “Powder U.” ski program. The courses include:
Powder 101: The Intro, Girl’s School (March 8-12, 2012): CMH Revelstoke will host an all-girls group of first-time Heli-Skiers for four days. Rates start at approximately US$4,600 per person.
Avi Skills 201: Backcountry Skills (Feb. 23-28, 2012): This five-day course at the CMH Kootenay Lodge will focus on backcountry safety and terrain assessment. It is limited to 10 skiers. Rates start at approximately US$5,490.
Powder 203: Big Trees (March 3-10, 2012): For strong skiers, this seven-day course in the Monashees focuses on skiing in old growth forest and is limited to 10 skiers. Rates start from approximately US$9,960.
Powder 215: Film School (March 22-26, 2012): This brand-new four-day course at Revelstoke teaches both heli-skiing and filming other heli-skiers in action. Rates start from approximately US$3,780.
