Travelers heading to Park City Mountain Resort in Utah for a late-season ski and snowboard getaway can check out the Helly Hansen Big Moutnain Battle on Saturday, March 24.
The contest pits teams of two in a race that starts from the Loren Larsen Park and winds through a series of checkpoints, lifts and runs teams must cover before crossing the finish line at the base. Contestants are tracked via Flaik GPS writsbands and medals are awarded to top finishers in each of three categories: Advanced, Intermediate and 12 and Under.
The top team will win $2000 in HH gear and entry into the Battle of the Bowls in Aspen, Colorado. All participants get a HH base layer and subscription to Powder Magazine, as well as entry into a prize drawing that includes two full season passes to Park City Mountain Resort for the 2012-2013 season.
