Ski Vacations for the Whole Family

Waldorf Astoria Park City
Fairmont Banff Springs’ packages suit both couples and families.

A winter family vacation doesn’t necessarily need to be a trip to a warm-weather standard such as Florida or the Caribbean.

The Vail Ski Resort this year is offering a new twist on après ski, allowing kids to spend the evening hours on a variety of supervised activities such as snowman-building, ice skating, board games and an indoor treasure hunt. The Après Kids program is hosted at The Arrabelle at Vail Square, a RockResort property.

In addition to the Après Kids program, kids under 4 ski free, kids ages 5 to 12 can ski with lift tickets, and young and first-time skiers can learn the tricks of the trade at Vail Ski School. The Après Kids program is available through the end of the 2011 season at a cost of $50 per child.
