The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau reported that about 125,000 visitors came to South Florida for Super Bowl XLI, including 50,000 people without a ticket to the game. "Based on our experience with previous Super Bowls, it is estimated that the economic impact will be $400 million," says Ginny Gutierrez, director of community relations for the GMCVB. Super Bowl XLII will be held in Glendale, AZ, and Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa, FL.
