Galileo Adds Three Hotel Groups To Booking Tool

Club Quarters, Hyatt Place and La Quinta Inns have been added to Galileo's "next generation" hotel booking tool, Inside Shopper, which allows hotels to transfer all available rates straight to a travel's agents desktop. The additions bring the total number of participating hotels to 200. "This means that our 50,000 leisure and business travel agents worldwide view only the most up-to-date availability and rates, allowing them to offer a faster and more accurate service to their customers," said Louise Meyer, Galileo's senior director of hospitality distribution for the Americas. Linda Kent, vice president of e-distribution for Starwood Hotels and Resorts, said Inside Shopper has solidly contributed to higher travel agent bookings since they began using it in 2002.
