The Bonaire Jazz Foundation has announced that the Bonaire Heineken Jazz Festival will take place May 25–28. Among the bands confirmed to participate are The Cubop City Big Band, a twenty-piece Salsa and Latin Jazz band from the Netherlands; Anastacia Larmonie, an Antillean singer, and her band; Konkie Halmeyer, a steel drummer from Curacao and his band Riba Tera; and the Bonaire Jazz Trio. In addition to Latin and Caribbean Jazz the event will also feature Straight Jazz, Swing, Fusion and Salsa performances. There will be four main locations for events: Plaza Resort Bonaire, City Café, Bongos Beach and Kontiki Beach Apartments.
