Geoffrey Kent, founder and chairman of the Abercrombie & Kent Group of Companies, has announced the appointment of Phil Otterson as president of Abercrombie & Kent USA. Otterson will serve as the principal senior executive of A&K in North America and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company, reporting directly to Ian Coghlan, CEO, Abercrombie & Kent Travel, in London.
Otterson joined the travel industry in 1972 and spent most of his career at Tauck. He retired from Tauck in 2009 to establish Cragmont Baron Group, a consulting firm.
