Trafalgar Tours Introduces Two Welsh "Be My Guest" Experiences

Trafalgar has introduced several Be My Guest experiences to their itineraries in the 2012 Europe and Britain brochure, where travelers will be able to meet local homeowners and share traditional meals during their trips. These also include two Welsh experiences during The Amazing Britain trip and the Britannia trip.

The Amazing Britain trip, which starts at $2,099 per person, is a land only, 11-day trip that promises travelers a stop at an historic Welsh inn. They will enjoy supper at The Anchor, an inn that dates back to the 12th century, which is located next to Tintern Abbey. Geoff Dawe, the owner of the inn, hosts the dinner, as well as explains the history of The Anchor.

The Britannia trip is $3,850 per person and is a land only, 19-day trip that includes a stop at The Hall at Abby-Cwn-Hir in Wales. It is considered one of the best examples of Victoria Gothic Revival architecture in Wales. Paul Humpherston, the owner, welcomes guests to The Hall and serves them canapés and cocktails, before conducting a guided tour of the grounds.

Travelers can also take advantage of Trafalgar’s Stocking Stuffer Sale, if they book an air-inclusive European vacation, with flights from KLM or Delta, by December 22, 2011. They can save $400 per couple, as long as they travel from January through April 2012.
