Yankee Leisure Group, Inc., a major tour operator, has named Grant Pollard as Director of Product and Operations. Pollard brings over 25 years’ experience in the travel industry to the organization and will be managing the Product and Operations teams.
Pollard began his career with Windstar Cruises serving as Cruise Director aboard Holland America for five years. Prior to joining Yankee Leisure Group, Grant served as Director of Operations and Sales with Riviera Tours for their US office. While at Riviera, he spearheaded the launch and operations of Riviera Tours (a UK company) into the US marketplace.
In addition to his career with Riviera Tours, Grant held various positions with Tauck World Discovery for ten years, including Sales Development Manager, Tour Director, Manager of Tour Directors and Product Manager where he effectively developed and launched new products into the marketplace. He also spent a year in California working for Adventures by Disney as a Destination Manager.
Founded in 1972 and headquartered in Beverly, Massachusetts, Yankee Leisure Group provides packaged travel programs. The group currently manages three distinct brands: Yankee Holidays, Amtrak Vacations and Unique Journeys.
