Avanti Destinations has launched a new microsite aimed at making it easier for travel agents to book pre- and post-cruise vacation options in Europe, Asia and Central and South America.
“The pre- and post-cruise options offered by tour operators provide agents and their clients a far wider range – and better pricing, as well as higher commissions – than those they can book directly with cruise lines,” said Harry Dalgaard, Avanti’s president and founder, in a written release. Avanti sells exclusively through travel agents.
Dalgaard also said that Avanti can tailor the pre- and post-cruise extensions to individual client needs, such as by incorporating transfers, sightseeing and local restaurants.
Avanti also sells commissionable net airfares that take advantage of stopovers and open-jaw flights.
