Mexico is preparing for Tourism Tianguis 2006 (Tianguis Turistico 2006), the country's largest tourism trade fair. Tianguis will take place from March 26 to 29 in the Pacific resort city of Acapulco, in the Acapulco Convention Center. Expected are hundreds of international tour operators, travel agents and other travel industry representatives. Tianguis is considered to be a one-stop shop for tourism industry representatives looking to assemble travel packages to Mexico. Travel professionals will also have the opportunity to learn about and purchase the country's array of tourism products and services, attend seminars, networking events and engage in one-on-one appointments.
