One-Price Advertising Policy Remains Unchanged

The U.S. Department of Transportation has decided not to change its "one-price" policy governing the advertisement of airline fares. The policy, adopted in 1984, mandates the entire fare be represented in an advertisement, aside from fees paid to the government and those paid for agency services that are not part of the transportation service. The DOT had undertaken a review of the policy with an aim toward updating it for current markets.
