Provincetown Partners With Amtrak and Cape Air for Discounted Fall Travel

The Provincetown Tourism Office in Provincetown, MA announced Thursday an aggressive marketing campaign that will include a new partnership with Amtrak and Cape Air. According to a press release from the Provincetown Tourism Office, the partnership will begin October 9. It will provide a 50 percent reduced rate on transportation during the next two months for visitors traveling aboard Amtrak to Boston from New York, Philadelphia and Washington, DC as well as from Boston to Provincetown, via Cape Air. This partnership will remain in effect until December 11. Arrangements are being finalized for 2007, which will include partnerships with Amtrak, Cape Air and two companies that offer seasonal high-speed ferry service from Boston to Provincetown.
