BritRail, which offers a series of passes onboard British railways, announced the launch of a new series of rail tours within Ireland. The new programs, RailTours Ireland, comprise half- and full-day excursions that start at $51. Possibilities include a trip to the Atlantic Coast of Northern Ireland; the tour costs $128. An excursion to Inishmore, the largest of the Aran Islands, costs $153. Other trips include the Ring of Kerry, Cork, Waterford, Blarney Castle and Connemara. Packages include roundtrip rail transportation from Dublin by rail, combined with road and/or air, entrance fees and a guide as needed.
