Advocacy Group for Disabled Holds Symposium with Airline Reps

The Open Doors Organization, an advocacy group for the disabled, held its first Airline Symposium to discuss handicapped accessibility and other issues with the airline industry. Representatives from 13 airlines participated in the two-day event, which, according to ODO, focused on "the safe stowage of scooters and wheelchairs (in planes) and maintaining high standards among contract workers," helping disabled people get to their gate and board their aircraft.
