Cruise Holidays Releases Last of Travel Trends Survey

The final portion of the three-part 2007 Cruise Holidays Travel Trends Survey has been released with information including the average cost of most popular itineraries, average booking window, percentage of customers who are mature travelers (55+), percentage of customers who are first-time cruisers and experts' opinions on the most popular type of cruise in 2007. Nearly half of the respondents indicated "mature travelers" (55+) make up less than 50 percent of their customers. The survey tracked actual bookings made by Cruise Holidays stores in the U.S. and Canada during the first quarter of 2007 and is supplemented with information and perceptions of Cruise Holidays' franchise owners. The first portion of the survey including findings on top cruise destinations, top Caribbean and European itineraries, embarkation points and emerging cruise destinations, along with major trends and top reasons why customers booked a particular cruise.
