Cruise Report Downgrades Wave Season

In a new A.G. Edwards cruise industry report, Tim Conder, A.G. Edwards' leisure analyst, writes that initial wave season bookings are torpid despite a benign hurricane season, declining fuel prices and delay of new passport requirements. Conder writes that Caribbean pricing continues to modestly weaken, but that weakening is skewed more toward short Caribbean itineraries and entry-level cruise brands. Conder adds that on-going languor in the Caribbean is tempered somewhat by strength in other regions, such as Europe.
