Hawaii Posts Mixed January Numbers

February 28, 2007 By: Camie Foster Travel Agent

The number of people visiting Hawaii in January dipped compared with the first month of last year, according to data released by the state Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism. However, higher average spending by the travelers who did come kept overall spending less than 2 percent lower than the previous period.
