Hawaii Survey Shows Visitors are Satisfied

Fully two-thirds of the domestic visitors surveyed about their most recent trip to Hawaii rated it "excellent," according to data from a visitor-satisfaction report issued Friday by the state Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism. The 2005 Visitor Satisfaction and Activity Report also included such nuggets as replies by 74.6 percent of U.S. residents visiting from west of the Rockies saying they were very likely to return to Hawaii within five years; 47.1 percent of those surveyed from the eastern half of the country also said they intended to return within five years.
